CrowdStrike Inc., (Nasdaq: CRWD), a leader in cloud-delivered protection of endpoints, cloud workloads, identity and data, today announced that it has won its tenth consecutive Approved Business Security Product award from AV-Comparatives. CrowdStrike Falcon Pro achieved a 99.9% the highest Protection Rate in the Real-World Protection Test, demonstrating the ability to protect against real-world threats using the power of machine learning and behavioral detection.

Falcon technology was able to achieve a nearly perfect Protection Rate in the AV-Comparatives Real-World Protection Test, which mimics real-world conditions for malware and threats and is considered one of the most relevant assessments of the efficacy of endpoint security solutions. Falcon demonstrated the most accurate detections and remediations, as well as comprehensive visibility through on-sensor, automated machine learning within the assessment.

Additionally, CrowdStrike Falcon achieved a 99.4% Malware Protection Rate in the AV-Comparatives Malware Protection Test, demonstrating leading automated detection and remediation capabilities. Falcon triggered zero false positives within the test and caused no business disruptions, ensuring end-users were continuously protected with reduced complexity. This is critical as downtime caused from false positives can directly impact total cost of ownership.

“Today, CrowdStrike remains the most tested next-generation cloud-native platform for endpoint security and continually outperforms both legacy and next-generation vendors in third-party testing. Winning our tenth consecutive AV-Comparatives Award is a testament to our relentless innovation. CrowdStrike offers our customers superior protection through hyper-accurate automated detection, response and remediation capabilities,” said Michael Sentonas, chief technology officer, CrowdStrike. “Our leading cloud-native technology and commitment to third-party testing are key differentiators and speak for themselves. No other modern endpoint security provider has been as universally recognized as CrowdStrike.”

CrowdStrike Falcon has consistently achieved a track record of success in independent testing, protecting customers from advanced threats using the power of machine learning, automation and the cloud. Purpose-built in the cloud with a single lightweight- agent architecture, Falcon protects the most critical areas of risk for an enterprise, including endpoints and public cloud workloads, user identity and data and provides immediate time-to-value.

“We’ve been testing CrowdStrike for five years now, and Falcon has achieved consistently solid results. In our Enterprise Main Test Series, which includes the Real-World Protection Test and Malware Protection Tests, Falcon was able to react quickly to effectively block real-life threats. Its investigative features include an extremely comprehensive search facility. CrowdStrike Falcon continues to prove the power of its technology time and time again,” said Andreas Clementi, chief executive officer and co-founder of AV-Comparatives.
