India’s leading online real estate company Housing.com has announced the launch of its operations in the cities of Lucknow, Chandigarh and Jaipur. The move by the REA India owned online portal comes at a time when housing affordability has improved tremendously and digital media have made property investment completely hassle-free.

The decision by Housing.com to expand to tier-II cities is on the back of fast growing internet penetration. According to the IAMAI-Kantar ICUBE 2020 report, The number of active Internet users in India is expected to increase by 45% in the next five years, and touch 900 million by 2025 from around 622 million in 2020. And most of these new internet users will come from Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
These newly opened offices will help the company cover a market where there has been a great spike in real estate activities for both builder partners and broker partners because of the increase in demand.
