Institute of Management Studies celebrated International Women’s Day. The theme of the program organized was Gender Bias Inclusion & Equality. The event was observed by the outstanding performance of Nukad- Natak based on gender equality, panel discussion, and honored students in their specific area of work. The chief guest of the event was Senior Director of IMS Noida, Dr. Kulneet Suri who graced her presence.

While addressing the program, Senior Director of IMS Noida, Dr. Kulneet Suri said, “IMS brainstormed on Gender Bias, Inclusion and Equity on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Many seminal issues related to types of biases, commitment to increasing representation of women in Leadership roles to culture fit, or low-risk hiring were discussed. Fact-based decision making and transparency with performance on jobs as benchmarks to dilute gender bias and usher in inclusion were the crucial factors of discussion. Groupthink and inclusion can be used as tools to fully measure the talents and ambitions of humankind irrespective of gender. Need of the hour is courageous leadership, best ideas to conquer the challenges ahead.”

The program highlights the importance of women’s education and gender equality in our society. It also includes activities like talk on the topic Gender Issues Today and Gender Equality in Professional Life, and panel discussion to make the program enjoyable. International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8 to mark and celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and academic achievements of women and raise awareness about women’s equality, accelerate gender parity.
