Here’s some good news for over 5,000-odd job seekers across the country that will be able to nail some employment opportunities, thanks to the Online Job Fair which will begin on September 22. Rozgar Junction INC has organised a 6-day mega online job fair for those who have lost their jobs in a pandemic.

The Covid-19 pandemic has become the prism through which all other risks will now be seen. While a section of people who had been working before the pandemic became jobless, there emerged another section of fresh graduates who also entered this brutal job market at the same time. “We strive to meet the requirements of as many seekers as possible,” said Aditya Sarfare, founder of Pooja Entertainment adding, “So far, we have received entries from over 5,000 people. The no. of enquiries is also increasing by the day. We hope to benefit as many people as possible,” he said.

Three entrepreneurs – Aditya Sarfare, founder of Pooja Entertainment, Jatinder Singh Monga, founder of Angel Ventures and Sufiyan Ahmed, founder of Ocean Marketing joined hands and set up Rozgar Junction INC company to provide employment opportunities to the job seekers not just in Maharashtra but from other parts of the country as well.

“The job fair will be held both online and offline for people from the age group of 18 to 50. Every candidate who registers with us pays a nominal fee of Rs 299 against which s/he is guaranteed five interview opportunities from the respective sector,” said Singh adding, “In case any candidate fails to nail the desired job, we will ask them to register for the entrepreneurship workshop wherein the candidate will be able to begin a small venture by themselves.”

Nearly 38 companies from various sectors including BPOs, finance, insurance and engineering have so far agreed to participate with their job requirements. “We are also in talks with a few banks to offer banking opportunities for our candidates,” Singh said.

Talking about the uniqueness of the Job Fair, Sarfare said, “A candidate once registered with us will remain in our records for a minimum of five years. This means that even if a person nails an opportunity but due to some reason loses the job may be two years later, that person will be able to connect with us once again and we will once again search opportunities for him.”

Singh said, “Also people, who are not able to make through the five job opportunities, will be absorbed by us with portfolios matching their interests ensuring that every work seeker returns home with a good job opportunity.”

Sufiyan Ahmed said, “The offline fair will be conducted in Navi Mumbai, Dadar and Pune. We have also received requests from neighbouring states like Goa where we are in discussion to host a similar fair in the month of October.” “We are also in talks with a few companies in Saudi and Dubai for overseas job opportunities,” Ahmed added.
