TAPMI Alumni Association, Manipal has donated 20 sets of wooden benches & Desks of worth Rs. 2,00,000 (two Lakhs) to Govt. Composite High School, Rajivanagara, Manipal. Prof. Sham Ranjan Shetty, the secretary of the Association formally handed over the sets to the School at school Premises. This is the second major CSR project of the Association carried out successfully for the benefit of society.

Smt. Nirupama Hegde, Vice President, 80 Badagubettu Grama Panchayat was the Chief Guest of the function. Sri. Ramesh Kini President & Dr. Ganesh Pai, Secretary of Manipal Lions Charitable Foundation were Guest of Honour. Sri. Upendra Nayak and Sri Ravi K, President of SDMC of High School and Primary Sections and Sri Balakrishna & Smt. Ravikala HMs of two sections were present on the Dias.

Prof. Sham Ranjan Shetty welcomed the guests, invitees and children to the program and explained the Association’s effort to help Govt. schools with basic requirements. He inaugurated the program by Lighting the lamp along with other dignitaries. The school authorities received the donation from Prof. Sham Ranjan Shetty and expressed their gratitude for the donation. The dignitaries addressed the students and advised them to study hard and become a useful citizen of the country. Sri Sai Prasad, proposed vote of thanks and Sri Ravindra Kumar was master of ceremony. Dr. Manjunatha coordinated the event. SDMC members, Panchayat Members and school teachers were present on the occasion.
