With the growing demand for online learning in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, upGrad, Asia’s higher Edtech leader, announced the launch of four new offline experience centers in Ahmedabad, Indore, Hyderabad, and Nagpur today. The one located in Nagpur is its second center and comes soon after the launch of its first base in November just last year. upGrad is expanding its experience centers with the aim to offer easy offline touchpoints, to build trust and improve the overall learning ecosystem for learners, located across India.

Jeetender Singh, Business Head – upGrad said, “Today, online learning is crucial in assisting people in remaining relevant in the job market and improving social skills, both of which lead to enhanced employability. A team of qualified professionals is available at each center to provide both potential and existing learners with extensive career counselling and guidance to help them make informed choices based on their professional aspirations and skillsets/subject interests.”

Research reports have indicated that the market for online learning will expand even more with the additional push after Covid as the economic uncertainty further establishes the need for continuous learning. In a vast country like India, online learning offers the flexibility to upskill without leaving the job and becoming future-ready. It also allows access to the best educational content with top university accreditations to learners across non-metros, thus fostering the next generation of learners.

“Such offline experience centers are designed to offer an easy offline touchpoint to anybody and everybody who seeks concrete career development,” added Jeetender. Currently, the higher-Ed major has over 17 Experience Centers across the country capturing the key cities like Noida, Pune, Vijayawada, Lucknow, and Vadodara, to name a few.
