Sustainable Architecture:

Sustainability in design, which is often termed as green design, is a vast field to minimize the negative effects of the construction and development industry on our environment. It restricts the adverse impact of construction by improvising skills and maintaining equilibrium in the usage of materials, energy, and improvement in space. For that perfect yin and yang balance, the built and unbuilt has to deal with the synergy of energy efficiency and environmental protection to achieve sustainability in design. This is to ensure that our exercises and decisions today don’t control the odds of individuals later on.

Many leading architectural practices of the world advocate the principle of sustainability in their practices to safeguard environmental change. One such devotee of sustainability is Norman Foster, Foster’s practice establishes the fact that the structures devour a full 50% of all the energy they produce, in addition to causing half of the world’s fossil fuel byproducts, so draftsmen should assist with changing these numbers. Foster and his partners are presently planning Masdar in Abu Dhabi, a zero-carbon, zero-squander city. The world’s first such element, Foster says Masdar will set new benchmarks for future feasible urban areas.
