He also has 20+ years of experience. Currently, Founder at STEMROBO Technologies Private Limited focused on designing and making Innovative Electronic Devices, Software, Pedagogy, and methodologies around STEM Robotics for the K-12 segment. he has a broader understanding of the K-12 segment as he is working on benefiting students and providing them with services that will enhance their learning experiences.

In today’s technology-driven world, it is essential for kids to stay equipped with tech innovations around the globe. The whole STEM education is considered to be a vast ocean of information and knowledge when there is so much to learn and understand. Students are exposed to STEM, Robotics, AI, and machine learning in their schools so that they have a better understanding of the subject.

Even though the government has recognized the importance of robotics in the classroom and has created laws and programs that would incorporate them into the advanced education system. This particular action will not only teach the students the basics of robotics but also open up a new world for them with exciting opportunities that they would not have access to otherwise.

It is considered that STEM Education at an early age transmits skills in students and teaches them to think critically, be resilient to rejection and keep troubleshooting till they succeed. Most importantly it helps them to be solution-oriented and establishes a connection between school academics, work of the future, and puts it all in the global context. As kids always been smart and intuitive when it comes to learning something new. They can see things that we adults at times have trouble comprehending. As the children get engrossed they start learning new things effortlessly. In addition, if the learning is in a fun way they tend to learn how to plan and build projects at the precocious best. Therefore, this leads them to go and continue these concepts and explore more complex ideas with time.

Demand for Robotics in Education

As the 21st century is very much technology-driven, robotics is considered to be a significant part of STEM education. Thus, today’s generations are more exposed to different technological devices from a tender age, they tend to be extremely nosy about the emerging trends. This helps to stimulate their mind with creativity that further satisfies their curiosity.

Despite this, children always find robotics fascinating, from the movements of the robots, methods of controlling to the whole set of programming behind running a robot have always been a significant area where learners pay undivided attention.

This era has helped the younger generations to choose great career paths for their near future. Schools are therefore inculcating various skill development programs and activity centers that are helping young minds to nurture and cherish their talent and imagination. Teaching children about an abstract subject all of a sudden can often be challenging, complex, and difficult to grasp. There are schools with the help of third-party companies that are introducing robotics in a comparatively simpler to understand and tangible manner. Therefore teaching robotics in schools gives learners the opportunity where they can address the growing demand for STEM subjects while learning how science, engineering,  maths, and technology work together and interact.

Scope and Career in the Field of Robotics

As the majority of the jobs available worldwide are at risk of being invalidated by advanced technology. Robotics along with other STEM technologies are some of the most rapidly developing fields. As new jobs will be invented requiring a new set of skills. Therefore, robotics and Machine learning will be some of the most popular skills among the other advanced technological skills.

In a technologically developing country like India, both science and tech is equally crucial as it is important for the overall development resulting it to be the core of innovation and experimenting. Whereas innovation is considered the driving force for a country’s growth and technology and making it an indispensable part of our lives as we move towards modernization and digitization. Since technological adaptability has become a necessity and society is becoming more comfortable with dynamic technologies. Therefore, keeping ourselves up-to-date with upcoming technology-based trends.

With the help of robotics, one can indulge in an interactive learning experience that will help to develop a sturdy foundation in the new education system. In spite of this, it will also incorporate real-life problem-solving skills along with computational thinking, creative thinking, logical reasoning, better decision-making, and good observation skills to students with the use of tech-based knowledge. Whereas, robotics along with machine learning creates an interactive learning environment and allows one to acquire a hands-on better learning experience. It also helps by evolving one’s mindset towards being tech-savvy and build confidence.

The Education System in India caters to the largest student populous in the whole world and is currently developing expeditiously with vast potential. Wherein the system is trying to incorporate technology-based learning to inculcate tech at a young age and evolve technological fluency amongst the youth. Despite all, be it honing creativity amongst learners, motivating them to innovate, or making them future-ready, Robotics is all about empowering learners. Therefore, introducing it from an early age can be translated into successful futures.
